Were you able to get keyconfig to work for this? I tried it (albiet only quickly), but it didn't seem to work for firebug. When I couldn't get it to work after 5 minutes, I gave up and removed it, so perhaps it was just operator error.

Yes, welcome to the world of wordpress plugins. Lots of conflicts, some great plugins, some promising, and a floating target depending on which version of Wordpress you are running on. And some not so great plugins that break your site, slow it down tremendously, or conflict with your current favorite plugins. Take care!
